Thank you for writing this blog. It is very true. I am an American female who went to live in Sweden nearly four years. I was so miserable, found my boyfriend (A southern Swede) to be narcissistic and abusive, passive aggressive, and he never spoke the truth – another words I never could get to the bottom of any situation or get a feel for his opinions, and his friends who were Danish and Swedes were as thoughtless and selfish, and also abusive.
I love Sweden’s terrain and some people were so smart and kind, genuine. But, all in all, so many people were snobby and rude.
I find that I cannot even remain friends with many of my Swedish friends, they have no mind of their own and I find it boring.
